I’ve spent over a decade studying and training dogs, but my biggest lessons came from my own reactive dog, Apollo.
I've been there.
There were days when I wondered if I was failing him and doubted my ability as a behaviourist and trainer. Nights when I’d replay our walks in my head, wishing I’d done things differently. And countless moments when the textbooks just didn’t seem to fit our reality. I base everything I teach on evidence-backed behaviour principles. But I also know that life with a complex dog doesn’t always look like the textbook examples or like the dog online who just needed 'x' to fix the problem.
Real life is messy. And sometimes, “doing it right” means finding the approach that works for you and your dog, even if it doesn’t look perfect on paper or like everyone else does online.
This challenge is the start of your journey. 3 different activities that engage your dog in 3 different ways. This allows you to find your pathway to progress and then build on it through the online reactivity course.

Knowledge – so you can understand the real causes of reactivity so you can prevent triggers instead of reacting to them
Practical exercises for loose lead walking, arousal control, desensitisation and counter conditioning
Private Facebook group access – to connect with others going through the same thing as you
Lifetime Access
Over 50 videos - full of both practical and theoretical knowledge in simple, bite sized chunks
This is not about suppressing reactions.
It is about building calm, confidence, and coping skills.
Invaluable Support for Our Anxious Dog
We cannot recommend Alice highly enough!
We reached out when our 2-year-old dog, Sunny, was struggling with significant anxiety issues. We completed her intensive 8-week course, and the entire experience was truly fantastic.
I can’t recommend Alice at Education4Paws highly enough. I came to her with my beautiful, sensitive but damaged rescue Basset Hound Scrappy. He hadn’t had the best start in life and the damage done was coming to the fore. He was reactive when away from the home, to other dogs, to people, passing cars, cyclists. He’s a big, strong boy so quite a handful to deal with and causing me some real concern. Alice is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me to understand what was happening and why. Through working with her we have addressed Scrappy’s anxieties and he is now a much calmer and happier dog - so am I as his owner. He is now much less reactive and I have a plan for how to predict and deal with anything that occurs. There is a huge improvement in confidence for both of us. I can’t thank Alice enough for everything.
My Romanian rescue dog had bitten 3 people and the vet was saying he might have to be put down if he couldn't change. Right from the start Alice helped me to understand my dog better and also to have the confidence to believe that he could change and that I could help make that happen. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who wants to help their dog learn to manage their emotions better or any other issue.
COMMON FAQs
How much time do I need each day?
The course is self paced, so you can move through it in your own time. Most owners complete the core training over 6 to 8 weeks, then continue using the techniques long term. 5 minutes learning and 5 minutes implementation a day is a fab starting point.
How do the group coaching calls work?
You will join a live video call every two weeks where we review progress, troubleshoot challenges, and plan your next steps. Each call is structured so you leave knowing exactly what to focus on. All calls are recorded, so you can catch up in your own time. You can also submit questions in advance to make sure you still get support.
How long before I see results?
Many owners notice small changes within the first few weeks, such as better focus, calmer walks, and fewer reactions. Long term progress comes from consistent practice and following the step by step plan.
What if my dog reacts to multiple triggers?
The training principles apply to all triggers including dogs, people, traffic, bikes, and environments. You will learn how to adapt the training for your dog’s individual needs.
What if I am not good at training?
You do not need any previous experience. The course is designed for everyday owners with clear instructions and practical demonstrations.
Can I pay in instalments?
